The owner of The Industrial Controls Company started the company 30 years ago, working from his home, when his son was 3 years old. He coached his son’s soccer team. He shared in taking him to school and even staying home when he was sick. And he and his wife, Dennise, made every play, concert, and game! So, how is that possible? Starting a company is a huge endeavor, right? Well, there’s 24 hours in a day and there were a lot of sleepless nights to get the work done, keep the books, create marketing materials, etc. It was challenging at times, but the priority never changed. And this philosophy holds true today. You see, we don’t hire resumes; we hire awesome people. We can teach you the ICC way of designing control panels, but we can’t teach you the family values and work ethic necessary to be successful here. We don’t tolerate games or politics and there’s no place for showboats to hide.
