It is a non-profit conservation organization that seeks to engage people with the life-giving benefits of nature and our mission to protect & care for environmentally significant land and water in Waukesha County for future generations. They presently oversee over 2\,000 acres here in Waukesha County. They serve honored & disabled veterans as well as under-served Latino and African-American individuals\n\n\n\nWisconsin Hero Outdoors (WHO)\, a non-profit formed in 2018 whose mission is to connect our local honored & disabled veterans\, first responders\, and their families here in Greater Milwaukee to outdoor activities in Wisconsin to help them address physical & mental health challenges & restore a sense of comradery\; our founders & advisors operate (WHO) as a 100% volunteer team accepting donations to support our core values of "Honor\, Courage\, and Conservation!"
